A Personal Message From Robert
I mean it when I say I'm not out to just sell you an alarm system. Your needs are different from the needs of others. There is no one size fits all basic security system (even the Canadian Security Association agrees).
Though, plenty of people will try to sell you one.
To me there is an order of priority when it comes to security protection....
1) First and foremost protecting loved ones. Saving lives.
2) Protecting your home.
3) Protecting your possessions.
Not everyone will agree. Believe it or not, all my years on the job I've met plenty of people who are only concerned about protecting valuables. There's nothing wrong with valuing your possessions and wanting to protect them - but that concern should NEVER come before protecting lives.
So if you're looking for someone who will come to your home, evaluate your security needs and be honest about them, then I'm your guy.
But, if you're looking for someone who's going to tell you that "some basic, one size fits all, free security system" will adequately protect your family, your home and your possessions just so he can get the sale and make you feel good about getting something for free, well chances are I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear.
Don't get me wrong, you'll get a free basic alarm security system from me...no problem. But, if it's not really enough protection I'm not going to lie and tell you it is just so I can sign you up as a client.
By focusing first and foremost on protecting your loved ones - your home and your possessions are automatically protected as well. But the reverse isn't true.
For example, monitored smoke & fire detection equipment saves lives, that's why I believe it's a must. But at the same time, the earlier a fire is detected and responded to the less damage there is. Both to your home and your possessions. When nobody is home, often by the time a fire is noticed from the outside it's too late to save the building or its contents.
I care about helping people protect their loved ones, their homes, their businesses and their valued possessions. I believe in what I do. Sadly after more than 20 years in alarms and security I've seen all too many tragic situations that could have been avoided.
Of course, it's the happy ending stories that keep me going...like this true story. A customer who added a monitored carbon monoxide detector to his security system calling to say THANK YOU!!!! That carbon monoxide detector saved his family.
His son tired from work came home and fell asleep with his keys in his pocket. Attached to his key chain was an automatic car starter, which started the car in the garage. Everyone was asleep at the time. Disaster was averted - an entire family was saved thanks to a monitored carbon monoxide detector.
If you want an honest recommendation about what security equipment you need to adequately protect your family, your home, your business and your possessions give me a call at 250-710-0595 or send me an e-mail with your number so I can call you Robert.Blouin@PricesAlarms.ca.
You have my word - no pressure - no obligation - I will pass by at your convenience and give you a free security evaluation of your home or business.
Take care & stay safe!
